Countdown Central 1.1.0 Released
I released a new version of Countdown Central, version 1.1.0. This new version contains bug fixes and minor enhancements. The are:
Fixed a bug with notifications. Tapping a notification banner will now always show the related notification. Previously it was hit or miss.
Ability to hide past and inactive events. Previously when an event expired (i.e. reached its end time and exceeded its active time — 1 hour for timed, 1 day for all-day events), it would still show up in the events listing along with all the upcoming events. Now, the default mode is to hide those events. Tapping the filter button will, of course, display those past events.
Added an animated message when there are no events configured.
Bell icon for events that have a reminder set.
Added a social section in the Info view. User can now read this blog, access the Taptronics BlueSky and Mastodon feeds.
New App Store screenshots! The old screenshots were pretty sad looking, just some basic screenies to get the app out the door. I used a service to create these new one: app screens.com. The UI is pretty intuitive and they have several templates to choose from. I’m not a graphic designer, and need all the help I can get on that front.
These are just a few features that I think will bring some nice “quality of life” improvements when using Countdown Central.
I hope you enjoy them!
